How a prediction market parlay works
Each leg is one outcome of one market, such as "Yes: the Fed cuts rates in December" or "No: a candidate wins the nomination". The price of each outcome is its implied probability. Multiplying the prices gives the chance that all legs win; one divided by that is the payout multiple.
Payout multiple = 1 ÷ (price₁ × price₂ × … × priceₙ)Worked example: a three-leg slip
| Leg | Price | Implied chance |
|---|---|---|
| Leg 1 | 50¢ | 50% |
| Leg 2 | 40¢ | 40% |
| Leg 3 | 25¢ | 25% |
| Combined | 5.0¢ | 5.0% |
A $10 stake pays $200 if all three legs win, a profit of $190. At 20× the parlay fee is 10% of the stake ($1.00) plus a $0.50 network fee, shown before you place it. If any leg loses, the slip loses.
Parlay fees rise with the multiple
Longer shots carry a higher fee: Under 5×: 5% · 5–20×: 7.5% · 20–100×: 10% · 100× and up: 15%. The fee is charged on the stake when the slip is placed and is not refunded if it loses.
Why related legs are blocked
A parlay only multiplies fairly if its legs are independent. Probio blocks legs that are the same market, the same event, the same topic (for example two crypto price markets, or two Fed rate markets) or the same team, person or place. Solana above $120 and Bitcoin above $90,000 move together, so they cannot share a slip.
Cash out early and share your slip
- Cash out an open parlay before it settles for its current fair value (payout × the live chance that the remaining legs win), less a 10% early-close fee.
- Share any slip as a link or image. Friends can open it and tail the same legs in one tap.
- Ready-made quick slips (favourites, coin-flips, long shots) are built from the most traded markets each day.
Parlay strategy that holds up
- Fewer legs win more often. Each extra leg multiplies the payout and divides the chance.
- Favourites stack slowly: four legs at 80¢ only pay about 2.4×, but win about 41% of the time.
- Mix horizons: legs that settle on different dates let you cash out early if the first legs land.
- Prices already include the crowd’s view. A parlay pays more only where you think the market is wrong.

Frequently asked questions
What is a parlay on a prediction market?
A single bet that combines several Yes/No outcomes. All legs must win; the payout is the stake multiplied by one over the product of the leg prices.
Can you parlay Polymarket markets?
Polymarket positions are on single markets. Probio uses Polymarket prices and lets you combine 2 to 8 of those markets into one slip. Probio is not affiliated with Polymarket.
What is the maximum parlay payout?
Up to 1,000× the stake, and at most $5,000 per live slip.
Why was a leg rejected from my slip?
It is too closely related to a leg already on it: the same market, event, topic or subject. Related outcomes move together, which would make the quoted odds misleading.
Can I cash out a parlay early?
Yes. An open parlay can be closed for its current fair value minus a 10% fee, as long as no leg has lost.
